I was in world early this morning dealing with land griefers... geesh... never a dull moment here in lala land.

Anyway, Flax Cuttita sent out a mass tp for a party over at Liquid Beatz for a DJ Tink Toll party. She does hardstyle!

I arrived to a rotating paw print pattern on the dance floor. So cool... thanks Flax for the tp! LOL! and thanks to DJ Tink for tuneeeeeeeeeees!

Your Brain on Music

Congratulations to Bella Productions and Arabella Buscaylet for a very successful event over at Southern Cross venue and the event, "Your Brain on Music."

The A List! group members TheArtfullOne Skytower and Mikayla Basevi shared their Southern Cross space with this event. Mikayla also acted as host for this event, too. Digital Francis, from Digital Nation also stepped up when another DJ couldn't perform. Kudos to Digi!

"Arabella Buscaylet wishes to profoundly thank everyone whose contributions made yesterdays Dj event the wildy fun and successlful one it was. First to my freind Night Harrop whose encouragement and support trurned a negative into a positive for me. TheArtfullOne Skytower and Mikayla Basevi for inviting me to use their beautiful club at Southern Cross as a venue. To each of these amazing DJs who gave jaw dropping performances from start to finish.

Second Life Opera House is a glorious build resembling a real opera house. Lush velvet curtains and chairs decorate the place with old world textures and murals on the ceilings. Very grand, very elegantly done...

July 18, 2009, today is a special presentation by SL Opera House. Yoshiwara Okiya's Geisha Show presents "Summer in Japan." With traditional koto music and dancers gracefully waving fans and moving in kimonos, the dance was a delight to watch.

Mixing traditional strains with more contemporary riffs, the koto was ripping. I kid you not. Whoever was playing was strumming and plucking the strings as if they were Slash from Guns n Roses. Ha! Gawd, it was incredible. There was such a mix of sounds... I swore the person must have been a mash-up dj. Love it!

There was a great mix in the crowd, too from ballgowns and tuxedos to shorts and tshirts. The classics attract everyone who appreciates fine art, great music, awesome dancing and beautiful costumes. What more can you ask from a show? Enjoy it! The opera is alive in the virtual world of Second LIfe!
